Empowering underserved communities across Nigeria and beyond through youth development, education access, skill acquisition, and compassionate outreach — one life at a time.
MADG Global — Making A Difference Generation Global — is a non-profit organization founded on the belief that poverty is not a destiny. We bridge the gap between potential and opportunity, arming underserved communities with education, skills, and the mentorship to build lives of independence and dignity.
"When we empower one person, we have empowered ten — because that one will earn, their family will benefit, and they will hire others. It becomes a ripple effect."
— Bunmi Josephine Oladele, FounderOperating primarily across Northern Nigeria and now reaching the United States, we have touched thousands of lives through seminars, skill acquisition, food relief, literacy programs, and digital career training. Our work is fueled by the vision of a world where every human being — regardless of origin — can access the tools to thrive.
Poverty wasn't studied — it was experienced. Growing up watching families hawk goods before dawn just to afford a single meal, children arriving late to school with empty stomachs, and graduates facing unemployment despite years of sacrifice — this reality became the fuel for a lifelong mission to serve those who have the zeal, the skills, and the hope, but lack the access.
Each initiative is designed not just for immediate relief, but for lasting independence — equipping individuals with skills, confidence, and community support to break generational cycles of poverty.
Large-scale events equipping young people — including NYSC Corps Members — to identify innate abilities, develop marketable skills, and gain financial independence. "Be The Change You Want to See" is our rallying cry.
Hands-on training in Virtual Assistance, Graphic Design, Web Development, Sales, and more. Our graduates go on to launch start-ups, offer masterclasses, and get matched with companies seeking talent — from zero experience to expert.
After-school and weekend English literacy programs for students and adults in underserved areas. We've donated classroom furniture, summer learning sessions, and are building toward shed libraries in every community.
During festive seasons and crises like the COVID-19 pandemic, we delivered food items to families across Lagos, Ibadan, Ilorin, and Abuja — reaching households that could not earn a daily meal under lockdown.
Free quality teacher training to enrich children's education at a foundational level. Our "Catch Them Young" initiative brings quality instruction where classroom infrastructure is most lacking.
Coming soon: A dedicated vocational training center sponsoring students in in-demand trades and professions globally. We believe a skilled individual is an independent one — with capacity to employ others.
MADG Global's first major event: a seminar for graduating students at the Federal University of Technology, Minna. Distinguished speakers guided students on identifying their innate abilities, contributing positively to society, gaining independence through their skills, and creating job opportunities to live fulfilling lives. The theme — Be The Change You Want to See — became our movement's enduring motto.
Education · EmpowermentDonated 40 student desks and chairs to Sultan Attahiru Secondary School to address overcrowded, under-resourced classrooms. We simultaneously launched after-school and weekend literacy classes — free English reading and writing instruction for both students and adults in the community who lacked these foundational skills.
Education · CommunityAddressed over 3,000 NYSC Corps Members in a landmark empowerment seminar, responding directly to Nigeria's high unemployment crisis. As the founder served as Head of the government's Skill Acquisition and Empowerment (SAED) scheme, this event catalysed hands-on skill development across multiple vocational tracks — turning youth service into economic opportunity.
Skill Acquisition · 3,000+ ParticipantsExtensive speaking engagements and community outreaches encouraging youths to identify, develop, and utilise their skills for independence. Palliative food distribution to underserved communities during festive periods. Multiple programmes championing self-reliance and positive societal contribution in regions with limited government support.
Outreach · ReliefWhen the pandemic lockdown silenced the streets, it silenced the livelihoods of families who survived only by hawking daily. MADG Global mobilised through a network of friends and supporters to deliver food relief across four major cities — reaching households that could not afford a single meal under lockdown conditions.
Crisis Relief · 4 CitiesOver 25 young professionals have been trained from zero experience in Virtual Assistance, Graphic Design, Web Development, Sales, and Administrative Support. Graduates now run their own start-ups — including Eleven-28 Virtual — and offer masterclasses. MADG Global facilitates career matching with companies seeking talent across healthcare, education, and tech sectors.
Digital Skills · 25+ Graduates · USAPoverty experienced, not studied
Access creates equity, not charity
One empowered = ten empowered
Skills over handouts, always
Every community deserves hope
The story of MADG Global begins not in a boardroom, but in the alleyways and classrooms of underserved communities in Nigeria — where children hawk goods before dawn to afford breakfast, where families share a single piece of meat at dinner, and where eggs and balanced meals are considered luxuries.
Bunmi Josephine Oladele grew up watching parents take cooperative loans with sleepless nights paying them back. She saw children stand at doorways staring at others' meals with silent questions in their hearts. She watched public school classrooms with broken chairs, absent textbooks, and teachers who barely had adequate training themselves. She saw girls fall pregnant as teenagers. She saw children placed into labour to support struggling families.
What struck Bunmi most deeply was not the suffering itself, but the potential within it. In underserved communities, she found skilled individuals with high integrity — people who, given a single beam of hope, would run toward it with everything they had. The problem was never ability. It was access.
Years of watching graduates celebrate degrees only to wake up the next morning to the same unemployment and struggle crystallised a conviction: the system had failed these young people, but people didn't have to fail each other. "Be the change" became more than a theme — it became a way of living. MADG Global was born from that conviction.
Join the Movement →In every 10 years, we want our impact to have reached more communities — and to be seen as a place of hope, a safe haven for the underserved.
Community reading hubs in underserved neighbourhoods — stocked with books, educational toys, and resources — so no child drops out of school simply because their parents cannot afford a textbook.
A dedicated vocational institution sponsoring students into globally in-demand trades — from tech and healthcare to craftsmanship — creating employable, hireable graduates who lift entire families out of poverty.
Nationwide programmes equipping teachers in public schools with modern, effective pedagogy — ensuring children in the most overlooked communities receive the quality education they deserve from their very first day.
MADG Global didn't give me a handout — they gave me a skill set and the confidence to use it. I went from not knowing what a virtual assistant was to running my own agency within a year.
The Be The Change seminar showed me that my skills were my greatest asset. I stopped waiting for a white-collar job and built one for myself. Three years later I have five employees.
When COVID hit, my family had nothing. MADG Global brought food to our door. It wasn't just relief — it was humanity. It reminded us someone cared enough to show up.
Every donation goes directly into programs that transform lives — seminars, literacy classes, food relief, vocational training, and digital skills that create lasting independence.
